Haswell Moor Wind Farm

The Haswell Moor Wind Farm consists of 5 x 2 MW Repower MM82 wind turbines.

The turbines are connected to the 11 kV distribution system in two strings, each string being connected via a circuit breaker to the NEDL Peterlee 66/ 11 kV Substation approximately 3 km from site.

The protection is the G 59 protocol, the testing of this G 59 protocol being witnessed by the DNO Engineer prior to the switchgear going live.

The G 59 protection is provided by the use of a MiCOM P 341 Feeder Management Relay.
